Are restriction against freedom of speech bad for democracy? Why?
From what I think is yes because we live in harmony and peace and also our country use the democracy system.People have right to choose the leader to lead the country. So yes freedom of speech is important to people because freedom of speech is what they use to voice out to the government what they want, what they need and also what is the problem that their having. This what the leader must do which is the leader responsibility and the leader must hear what they said.If there is restriction on freedom of speech, how our country to move forward? It will affect the stability of the country.
Next reason to why restriction against freedom of speech is bad for democracy is What will the citizen feel when they applied the restriction in freedom of speech? They will feel there are no justice for them because they cannot voice out what is their ideas to make their country become a better place.
In conclusion,Freedom of speech is important to our democracy.Citizen have right to voice out what in their mind.
